Use of the Home Care Registry is free for both seniors and home chore workers. The Registry identifies, screens, fingerprints and refers affordable care providers for an average wage of $12 per hour (generally lower than the $16+ market price). Charges vary based on the amount of cleaning required for each job or the level of care needed by individual clients. These charges are negotiated between the client and care provider.
